LOL Yeh I was blown away too!

To wake up and realize that my all time favorite band's all time best concert......

That I had the privilege to attend...... was a total blur!!

I arrived in Birmingham without being able to secure any weed or mind altering substances so did my best to procure some at the venue. There were a 1000 Zappa clones all smoking weed, but no one would even pass the joint to me let alone sell me anything.

When I took my seat in the theatre, I was 100% straight and found a column right in front of my face. Fortunately, it only obscured one band member, but why did it have to be Chad Wackerman, the amazing drummer?

Compared to Frigg's story, it's not exactly what I would call a nightmare.

Goddamn Bloody Heathens! That ain't right!

Your Mom wrote:Another nightmare was at a Joe Jackson concert in an intimate theatre of some 2 or 3 thousand and some wanker started to clap out of time and the sheep joined in. It was not long before Joe called them to a halt. He started playing his eponymous hit, is she really going out with him, but, instead sang the lyrics for different for girls. He followed this by playing different for girls, but singing is she really going out with him. My girlfriend of the time scorched my heart by telling me to be quiet as I sang along to the songs I loved. What a cow!

I was used to her being a cow as her favourite expression was don't you think it would be better if you ... My response to this was if I thought it would be better, I would have done so! She couldn't understand when I told her I hated her nagging. That's not to say that sex with her was rubbish, but it was! Her favourite position was on top as she came very quickly, but lost interest immediately afterwards leaving me going what? What? What? You cannot be serious! And then proceeded to take matters into my own hand! She hated that as well!  I need the "my head is full of fuck" image!

That relationship, for some unknown reason, didn't last too long!

Too much acid, weed, and alcohol.... have no clue why I decided on that mixture!

No

Turned out to be one of their best concerts EVER!!!!

And I remembered none of it the next day.

It just means you were really there!

If you are going to do LSD the the others are simply "rounders"

Lol. Too many.

Never buy random pills in a club. Bring your own. That's all I have to say about that.

Back in '87, Stevie Ray Vaughan was in town. On the spur of the moment, while wasted, a group of us decided to go to the show. At the ticket office, I jokingly asked for front row seats, I nearly had a heart attack when the girl gave them to me. SRV had his brother's band, The fabulous thunderbirds (if I remember correctly) as the support act. After they'd finished, Jimmy Vaughan joined his brother on stage,

Stevie was toting a twin neck guitar and Jimmy casually leant over his shoulder and started playing the top neck while stevie played the lower and they constantly switched necks. It was really awesome and by no means a nightmare.

It was something like this

A comment from Jewtube:
Jimmy was very, very good , Stevie was better if that's possible and so says Jimmy. Only brothers would do something like this.  You can't get this close to a man's face without being brothers and not have it questioned lol

Oooh! Seeing Stevie Ray Vaughn live would have been the ultimate!!!

One of my favorites was me and hubby about 10 yrs ago went to see Drowning Pool.

What was so great was it was at a local college bar here. And was a last minute deal on a wednesday night. And had only been on the sign out front since that monday.

Ended up being only about 100 people there. So it was like they were playing right in our living room!

Got to hang out and have some drinks with them after too.
